The Feline Advisory Bureau works towards raising the standards of catteries through their listing scheme, and say that cat owners, in general, are not as aware as they should be of the care and standards they should demand for their pets.

To highlight this awareness the FAB, together with Your Cat Magazine and Purina ProPlan, launched the Boarding Cattery of the Year Award to recognise excellence.

Once again, we are proud to have been selected as one of the top six catteries in the UK in the FAB 2005 Cattery of the Year Competition, picking up a ‘Highly Commended’ award.

The FAB said: “Semliki Cattery was highly thought of - we were particularly impressed with the overall appearance of your cattery - your new units enhance your lovely garden. We also commend you on the knowledge of the cats in your care.”
